so, instead i've chosen another film co-starring ana torrent, the magical (and best dressed!) little girl from the spirit of the beehive.

I don't think I've seen this one, or at least not all the way through! Exciting. I like Carlos Saura.
Your writing here makes me think I must revisit Spirit of the Beehive. When you picked it for FO I had seen it some months before, and liked it, but it's fading somewhat in my memory now. Perhaps I will make this a double feature week...
I saw this film on your blog and just watched it, that "Porque te vas" song is haunting my head.
I've been reading your blog for a while, I just watched this "Du Levande" or "You, the Living" and thought you might like to watch it too. A Swedish dark comedy, shot mainly from still pictures and inspired by Goethe.
